Each academic year, Palmer Seminary awards to entering students a number of Brauch Scholarships, which cover forty percent the cost of tuition at Palmer. The scholarship remains in effect through the student's entire academic career at Palmer Seminary so long as he or she is a full-time student (at least 24 credits per academic year), maintains a G.P.A. of at least 3.3, and continues to meet the criteria for acceptance described below.

About the Scholarship

The Brauch Scholarship may be applied toward any of the Seminary's masters degree programs, but it does not apply to tuition for the outside institution of any dual degree program.

This scholarship is named for New Testament scholar Manfred T. Brauch, former professor and former President of Palmer; and medical doctor Marjean Brauch, board member of Palmer's parent institution, Eastern University. On occasion during their time here, Brauch scholars have the opportunity to be mentored by those for whom the scholarship is named.
