Reverend Lawrence became a part of, the Seminary’s certificate and diploma program for Adult learners, Eastern’s School of Christian Ministry (ESCM), in 1992. 

Reverend Lawrence has served for forty-one (41) years as the Administrative Assistant to the Pastor, White Rock Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA. He has served as staff and leader for local, regional and national conferences for youth and adults.  Rev. Lawrence has written a weekly “Gist of the Sunday School Lesson” since 1975. He is a workshop facilitator and instructor. Rev. Lawrence provides a monthly continuing education learning session for the West Philadelphia Baptist Congress of Christian Education, an association of over 20 Church Sunday Schools. He was invited to help the Church of Christian Compassion develop its Compassion School of Ministry (CSM) and has served as an instructor since 2017.
