Students will develop a critically informed approach to various areas of Christian thought, Biblical interpretation and the practice of ministry. (Whole Gospel)

• Indicator 1: Employs skill in the use of research tools, research methods, exegesis, hermeneutics, critical reflection and clear communication
• Indicator 2: Employs the ability to address personal, social, global questions and issues theoretically and practically in ways that lead toward healing and wholeness.

Students will develop a biblically informed and theologically grounded commitment to a specific area of scholarship in Christian Counseling and/or to service in the church and community through Christian Counseling. (Whole Gospel)

• Indicator 1: Employs skill in the use of biblical, theological and ethical tools, such as research, research methods, hermeneutics, critical reflection and clear communication in Christian counseling
• Indicator 2: Describes and applies biblical and theological foundations and awareness of self in the practice of Christian counseling
• Indicator 3: Employs ability in Christian counseling to address personal, social, and global questions and issues biblically, theologically and ethically in ways that lead toward healing and wholeness.

Students will apply the methods and contents of biblical studies and theology to issues of consequence for Church and society (Whole Gospel)

• Indicator 1: Applies skill in the use of the tools of biblical studies and theology such as research, research methods, exegesis, hermeneutics, critical reflection and clear communication
• Indicator 2: Employs the ability to reflect critically and constructively on the student’s own theory and methods in conversation with existing options within their disciplines and in light of cultural perspectives other than the student’s own
• Indicator 3: Employs the ability to address personal, social, global questions and issues biblically and theologically in ways that lead toward healing and wholeness.

Students will develop a critically informed biblical and theological approach to Public Policy. (Whole Gospel)

• Indicator 1: Employs skill in the use of biblical, theological, and ethical methodologies in the field of Public Policy
• Indicator 2: Employs ability to address personal, social, global questions and issues biblically, theologically and ethically in ways that lead toward greater justice in Public Policy
