On Saturday, October 3rd from 12:30 pm- 3:15 pm (EST), Palmer Theological Seminary will celebrate the XVI Orlando E. Costas Conference.
The Orlando E. Costas Conference was established to honor the work of the late missiologist and theologian Orlando E. Costas and build relationships with Latino churches. He died in 1987 at the age of 45. He is remembered for his passionate advocacy for the voiceless and oppressed. He left a major mark on a number of Latino/a scholars, having written 14 books and contributed to 17 additional books and 40 journals.
Dr. Costas’ life of scholarship has paved the way for many Latino/a scholars.
About the Speaker: Analia Saracco
Analia Saracco Holds a degree in Public Relations from the Argentine University of Business (UADE), an MTh from the South African Theological Seminary, and a teaching certificate in Higher Education from the Argentine Technological University.
Analia Saracco currently serves as the Rector of FIET Theological Institute (International Faculty of Theological Education) in Argentina, and as Co-Director of the Lausanne Movement for Latin America.
