Palmer to host the XIV Orlando Costas Conference on Oct. 4

On Saturday, October 4th from 12:30 pm- 3:15 pm (EST), Palmer Theological Seminary will celebrate the XIV Orlando E. Costas Conference. 

The Orlando E. Costas Conference was established to honor the work of the late missiologist and theologian Orlando E. Costas and build relationships with Latino churches. He died in 1987 at the age of 45. He is remembered for his passionate advocacy for the voiceless and oppressed. He left a major mark on a number of Latino/a scholars, having written 14 books and contributed to 17 additional books and 40 journals. 

Dr. Costas’ life of scholarship has paved the way for many Latino/a scholars. 

The Conference will be held virtually via Zoom, Youtube live and Facebook live.
