All are invited to attend “Reflecting on the Legacy of Tony Campolo’s Preaching and Ministry,” on April 14th from 7 – 9 pm in Templeton Hall. This lecture is co-sponsored by Palmer Seminary’s Kerygma Initiative and the Campolo Center. Guest lecturer, Bishop Rev. Dr. Will Willimon, is an author and theologian who shared a friendship with Tony Campolo. Rev. Willimon served as dean of Duke Chapel at Duke University for 20 years, and he has sold over a million copies of his books. One book, Survival Guide for Christians on Campus: How to Be Students and Disciples at the Same Time was co-written with Tony Campolo. The lecture also includes a panel discussion and Q & A with Rev. Willimon and Campolo Fellows, Rev. David W. Brown and Rev. James Williams. Refreshments will be provided, and the event is free. Registration is open.
