The American Baptist Churches of New Jersey (ABCNJ) and Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University are issuing a “Call to Prayer in these Difficult and Uncertain Times” with a corresponding prayer guide, to start today, Monday, September 14, at 8 pm. This Call to Prayer asks churches and individuals to pray each Monday at 8 pm through the last Monday of December, and to come together virtually the last Monday of each month to do so together. The prayer guide developed is organized around four weekly themes of Identity, Brokenness, Racial Reconciliation, and A Call to the Church to be a Holy People, with corresponding verses and reflection and prayer suggestions. We hope and pray that all will join us!
