Sherelle Hines is a daughter of Philadelphia, born and raised in North Philadelphia and educated within the Philadelphia public school system. She is the devoted mother of four adult children and seven grandchildren. At the age of twenty-five, she surrendered her life to Christ and united with Emanuel Institutional Baptist Church, where her deep commitment to evangelism and outreach began to take an enduring root.

While raising four children as a single mother, fulfilling demanding responsibilities within several law firms, pursuing higher education, and completing formal evangelism training, she earned both a Certificate in Evangelism and an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. Her steadfast faith, discipline, and perseverance established a foundation for a life distinguished by service, resilience, and unwavering devotion to ministry.

Her professional experience in Center City Philadelphia afforded meaningful opportunities to minister to individuals from many walks of life. Following the completion of her evangelism training, she was invited to teach evangelism classes, further affirming her call to outreach and instruction. For more than two decades, she has served faithfully in ministry, witnessing, preaching, and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout surrounding communities.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Peirce College and is presently pursuing the Master of Divinity degree at Palmer Theological Seminary. Deeply devoted to the ministry of intercession, she serves faithfully on the Intercessory Prayer Team as a committed prayer warrior. In addition, she serves as an Adult Sunday School teacher at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, while also fulfilling the responsibilities of Assistant Sunday School Superintendent and President of the Choir.

Sherelle was recently honored with an appointment as Ministry Coordinator for Outreach with the American Baptist Women’s Ministries of the Philadelphia Baptist Association. She embraces this meaningful opportunity with gratitude and a servant’s heart, looking forward to extending Christ-centered outreach and touching many lives in the name of Jesus Christ.
