She is a graduate of New Jersey public schools and holds a B.S. in Organizational & Community Leadership from the University of Delaware, an M.S. in Management & Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University, and a Master’s in Theology from Palmer Theological Seminary.

Jocelyn serves as the Managing Director of People, Culture & Strategy at Teach For America Greater Philadelphia, where she leads people-centered systems and strategies that advance equity, belonging, and organizational effectiveness. In addition to her work at Teach For America, she is a leadership coach and diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant, partnering with organizations across the country to build more equitable and anti-racist workplace cultures.

She is also a licensed minister and serves as the Youth Ministry Director at New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, under the leadership of her father, Rev. William Moore, Jr. In this role, Jocelyn is passionate about cultivating a holistic ministry that nurtures the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being of young people. It is an honor to help shape the next generation in the same church that helped shape her as a child. In keeping with her work as a leadership coach & organizational consultant, Jocelyn serves as the Youth Ministry Advisor for Monumental Baptist Church in Philadelphia, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. J. Wendell Mapson, Jr.

Jocelyn’s life and ministry are grounded in her favorite Bible verse: “Lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God” (Ephesians 4:1). With faith and expectancy, she remains committed to following God’s leading in every area of her life.
