Anthea W. Lett

Treasurer

Being a servant leader is at the core of who I am. I believe that serving others is not just a calling, but it’s the very essence of my identity and ministry.

I am currently pursuing my Master of Divinity at Palmer Seminary, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027, building on a foundation of Management from Bellevue University where I earned my Bachelor of Science. As the first American-born member of my family—born to Lennox and Nadia Wilson and raised alongside my brother, Lennox II—I am deeply rooted in the values of family, faith, and community.

As a lifelong member of Mount Zion AME Church in Norristown, I have dedicated myself to serving God’s people through a wide variety of ministries. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of lifting my voice and hands in the Young Voices of Zion youth choir, the Praise and Worship Team, and the Praise Dance Ministry. I have also served our congregation through the Youth Ministry (YPD), Young Adult Ministry (RAYAC), the Pastor’s Aide, and the Steward Board.

Currently, I have the honor of serving as the President of the Rachel J. Smith Missionary Society. Through this role, leadership transforms into tangible action. My heart is in community outreach, whether it’s volunteering at Martha’s Marketplace Pantry to provide food to low-income families, assisting at The Hospitality Center to feed those experiencing homelessness, or supporting Safe House Ministries. Under my guidance, our society continues to expand its reach—supporting families affected by devastating fires, making trips to local shelters to donate blankets during Code Blue nights, and traveling into Philadelphia to distribute winter gear and food to our unhoused neighbors.

I live each day supported by my family, married to Charles Lett Jr. and the proud mother of four wonderful children: Che-Lynne, Brenden, Lena, and Joshua. Ministry is a shared and vital part of our family life.

As I walk alongside you, my ministry and leadership are anchored in my favorite scripture, Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” I am here to serve, support, and uplift our community with that very spirit of love and humility every step of the way.
