The Sider Center

Sider Center

The Sider Center of Palmer Seminary, named after Ronald J. Sider, promotes peaceful coexistence and social justice through theological reflection, academic programs, rigorous scholarship, and convening of timely conversations. Primary avenues for this work include Evangelicals for Social Action, Oriented to Love, Latino/a Initiatives, Family Strengthening Advocates, and CreatureKind

The center’s work is supported by Sider Scholars who work 5-10 hours a week at Palmer Seminary and receive a scholarship for 50 percent or more of their tuition for Palmer graduate programs like the Master of Theological Studies in Christian Faith and Public Policy.

Please contact Sarah Withrow King at 484.384.2988 or for more information about becoming a Sider Scholar.
