Elizabeth Congdon-Martin

Adjunct Faculty in Christian Ministries


Beth retired in 2014 as Administrative Faculty at Palmer Theological Seminary. Previously she was part of the seminary having taught courses in the area of Christian Ministry and, for ten years, serving as Director of the Supervised Ministries programs. She is privileged to continue relationship with the seminary and its students through the summative course, Nurturing Spiritual Life & Character III. Other areas of professional ministry have included chaplaincy, two pastorates, several interim pastorates, and collaborative teaching at Andover Newton Theological Seminary. Beth’s academic specialty is in the area of Supervision. In retirement Beth finds herself active in the area of pastoral care in her local congregation, takes great pleasure in learning and developing relationships through world travel and in sharing the wonder of God’s bounty through the eyes of her children and five grandchildren.
