Prior to becoming Dean of Palmer Seminary, Dr. Elouise Renich Fraser served the Seminary as Interim Academic Dean, Associate Dean, and Professor of Systematic Theology. While on sabbatical in 1999, she taught theology at the Nairobi (Kenya) Graduate School of Theology.

Elouise has written articles for various publications and has lectured and spoken in a variety of settings, including Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology in Karen, Kenya, and Alliance Seminary in Lima, Peru. Her published works include the books Confessions of a Beginning Theologian (InterVarsity Press) and Making Friends With the Bible, coauthored with Louis A. Kilgore (Herald Press).

She is a member of the American Academy of Religion; the Karl Barth Society of North America; the Chief Academic Officers Society of American Theological Society (ATS); and ATS Senior Women Administrators in Theological Education.
