Vladislav Michael (“Mike”) Gankevich

Student Chaplain

Vladislav Michael Gankevich was born in Ukraine on July 6, 1986. He immigrated to America with his mother, brother, and grandparents in 1994 and grew up in the Bucks County/Philadelphia area ever since. Growing up in a Christian household, Mike has always heard the Bible preached and taught, but it wasn’t until he was about 12/13 years old that he personally committed to following Jesus Christ. Mike graduated from Cairn University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biblical Studies in 2009. He then went on to start his Master’s of Divinity studies at Palmer Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2018. Mike is with the PA Army National Guard and, upon graduating from Palmer, hopes to become a Chaplain with the Army Guard. Mike has no human children but does have two feline daughters: Sophia (4 ½ years old) and Sierra (4 years old) of whom he’s very proud.
