Through Your Influence:

1.) Pray for Palmer Seminary regularly as we strive to fulfill our mission to equip current and future church leaders with Bible knowledge, ministry skills and spiritual maturity.

2.) Encourage people of all ages who are interested in Theological education to consider Palmer. Emphasize the values and commitments that make Palmer Seminary unique. Direct them to our web site. Request as many DVDs and viewbooks as you think you can distribute to help spread the word.

3.) Encourage your congregation to include Palmer Seminary in its missions budget. Identify people in your congregation who recognize the importance of Theological education and who might be willing to contribute to the Annual Fund.

4.) Host a Palmer Seminary Sunday in your church. This could entail any or all of the following: inviting a guest preacher or Sunday School teacher from the Seminary; taking a free-will offering on behalf of the Seminary, showing our 8-minute DVD; making materials available in your church foyer.

5.) Hang your Palmer Theological Seminary diploma proudly in your office or home.

6.) Put a Palmer Theological Seminary sticker in your car window. (Let us know if you need one.)

Through Your Encouragement:

7.) Make sure your address, phone number, and e-mail address are up-to-date with the Office of Development so we can stay in touch with you.

8.) Invite a student to lunch or dinner.

9.) Write a letter to a former professor or administrator who touched your life while you were here. Let this person know how much his or her influence has meant to you.

10.) Stop by for a visit.

Through Your Finances:

11.) Make an unrestricted gift to the Annual Fund. You may do so by giving online. We strive to keep tuition as affordable as possible so that future pastors can steer clear of significant debt. Your gifts to the Annual Fund, however large or small, help us to accomplish this purpose. They also enable us to maintain the campus facility and to improve the quality of our programs.

12.) Join the Heritage Society by remembering Palmer Seminary in your will. If you would like assistance in drawing up a will, let us know.

13.) Consider starting a charitable gift annuity. This would enable you both to earn investment income and to support our mission. For details, contact the Seminary's Development Office.

14.) Get a Palmer Seminary/Christian Community Credit Union Visa Card and use it! A portion of what you spend benefits the Seminary.
