Palmer Seminary of Eastern University’s MTS students who choose the public policy concentration may choose to do a semester-long internship in Washington, D.C. This internship experience includes the opportunity to study under and interact with such public policy experts as the Seminary’s Ron Sider, bestselling author Tony Campolo, and Jim Wallis, founder of the Washington-D.C.-based Sojourners community. The internship is offered only in the Fall semester (beginning in 2011) and is designed to be taken at or near the end of the MTS degree program, following the completion of all (or most) coursework.
