Free Public Lecture November 3
October 26, 2011 -On Thursday evening, November 3, the Seminary has the pleasure of hosting someone whom PTS Professor Dr. Al Tizon regards as “a prophet walking among us.” Beginning at 7 p.m., Soong Chan Rah, Associate Professor of Church Growth and Evangelism at North Park Theological Seminary, will lecture on the topic “Many Colors: Cultural Intelligence for a Changing Church.” Dr. Tizon notes that Rah’s thinking and writing are aimed at releasing the church from its white, Western cultural captivity so that it can become the multicultural and holistic community God has called it to be. This lecture, sponsored by Seminary's Sider Center for Ministry and Public Policy, promises to be both disturbing and inspiring. It is free and open to all.
