Theological Education and Latinos/as

A March 27 workshop funded by the Wabash Center will explore the various dynamics and distinctive features associated with theological education in the Latino/a church community. The workshop is scheduled for 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Palmer Seminary. Speakers include Dr. Robert Pazmiño, Dr. Elizabeth Conde-Frazier, Dr. Daisy Machado, and Dr. Nelson Rivera.

Dr. Pazmiño, who teaches Christian Education at Andover Newton Theological School, has published extensively on issues related to theological education for Latin@s. Dr. Conde-Frazier is Dean of Eastern University's Esperanza College. Dr. Machado is Professor of Church History at Union Theological Seminary in New York City and a distinguished Latina scholar. Dr. Rivera teaches systematic theology and directs the Latino concentration of the Masters programs at Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia.

There is no charge for the event, and refreshments will be served.
