The Austen K. deBlois Library is part of Eastern University Libraries. The mission of Eastern University Libraries is to provide information access and research instruction to all of Eastern University’s communities, making a difference in the world, church, and individuals through Christian higher education.
Warner Memorial Library serves all academic constituencies with the provision of organized collections of books and media, online resources, reference, and research instruction.
The Austen K. deBlois Library of Palmer Theological Seminary serves Eastern University by providing theological resources and services to the seminary, graduate, undergraduate, and alumni communities of Eastern University.
Eastern University Libraries adhere to the Characteristics of Excellence applicable to libraries from the Middle States Association on Higher Education; and the standards of the Association of Colleges and Research Libraries. The Austen K. deBlois Library also conforms to standards of the Association of Theological Schools. We assess our service through regular surveys of faculty and students.

The lower level book stacks close 15 minutes prior to closing time to allow for check-out and lock-up procedures to be completed. The Library observes all official Seminary holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thurs.-Sat.), Christmas through New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Easter (Fri.-Sat.), Memorial Day, and Independence Day.
