In my work at Palmer, I LOVE LOVE LOVE witnessing and contributing to people's growth as followers of Jesus Christ as they reckon with the implications of discipleship on deep levels in all the visible and hidden areas of their lives. Discipleship is not only about our "spirituality" or our prayer life; it is about our friendships, our intellectual curiosity, our parenting, our self-care, our work ethic, our ministries, our vacations-everything! I take great pleasure in beholding God at work in each of us and among all of us, knitting us together while making us individually more distinctly who we are called to be. It just doesn't get any better than this!

Willette Burgie- Bryant devotes most of her time and efforts at the Seminary creating, coordinating and facilitating programs and administrative processes that support students' formation for Christian ministry. She also teaches in the areas of spiritual formation, Christian ethics, and preaching.

Willette has previous administrative experience at the seminary level (Colgate Rochester Divinity School) and teaching experience (Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC and New Brunswick, New Jersey) Theological Seminary. She formerly served as pastor-teacher to a small church plant.

Her current ministerial endeavors include preaching, retreat and workshop leadership, adult Christian education, Christian spirituality, and pastoral care. A member of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia, she is featured in David Ritz's book Messengers: Portraits of African American Ministers, Evangelists, Gospel Singers, and other Messengers of the Word.
