Director of Supervised Ministries and Affiliate in Christian Ministry

"The value of practicing ministry under competent supervision was a highlight of my seminary training which I never forgot. Throughout over 25 years in the pastorate, having seminarians as pastoral interns was always a fulfilling ministry both for me and for the congregations. Helping Palmer students discover God particular call on their life through both the internships we offer (one is a clinical internship) and helping them develop the skills that make them effective in ministry and in life gives me great satisfaction and joy."

Elizabeth Congdon-Martin has extensive pastoral experience, having served as pastor at First Baptist Church of Mansfield, MA and at Exton Community Baptist Church in Exton, PA. More recently, she served as interim pastor at Malvern (PA) Baptist Church.

She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Andover Newton Theological Seminary and as a hospital chaplain at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Massachusetts. Elizabeth is a member of the Minister's Council of the American Baptist Churches, USA, and the the Exton/Lionville Ministerium.
