How should I vote in 2008? What issues should be most important to Christians? What does the Bible say about abortion, gay marriage, and how we should treat those who cross our borders? What about foreign policy, including the conflict in Iraq? And overcoming poverty in the U.S. and around the world? All these questions and more will be addressed at the weekend conference "The Scandal of Evangelical Politics", March 28-30 at Palmer Seminary. The conference is sponsored by Evangelicals for Social Action, which operates out of the Seminary. Main speakers and workshop leaders include Luis Cortés, Jr. (Esperanza USA); Christine Pohl (Asbury Seminary); Ron Sider (Palmer Seminary/Evangelicals for Social Action); John DiIulio (University of Pennsylvania); William Shaw (National Baptist Convention USA); Richard Cizik (National Association of Evangelicals); and Shirley Mullen (Houghton College.
