Exploring Christian Ministries Conference

Over the years, Palmer Seminary's annual Exploring Christian Ministries conference has helped hundreds of men and women who are wrestling with a call to ministry and are unsure how to respond. For some, the conference has been a life-changing experience, as people who are engaged in a common quest support one another.

Conference workshops, seminars, and plenary sessions explore questions such as "How does God call?", "Whom does God call?", and "Why does God call?" Guests who feel that graduate theological education is a part of their call to ministry have ample opportunities to ask questions and to interact with Seminary personnel, including faculty.

Past conferences have featured tours to ministry sites in the Philadelphia areas as well as seminars on College / University Campus Ministry, Pastor as Counselor, Women in Ministry, Ministry with Youth, Joys and Challenges of Pastoral Ministry, Multi-Cultural Ministry, Urban Ministry, the Preaching Life, and the Ministry of Chaplaincy.

The next conference is scheduled for March of 2014. Specific details on the 2014 event will be posted here as the date draws nearer.
