ESCM is a unique diploma/certificate program in a seminary learning environment where you can earn degree credits

2 Diplomas (24 courses - 2 to 3 years)

Biblical and Theological Studies
Educating outstanding Bible teachers and preparing students for theological degree studies

Pastoral Studies
Preparing bi-vocational pastors, lay leaders, and those seeking further theological degree studies

4 Certificates (10 courses - 1 to 2 years)

Biblical Studies
Providing the lay leader with a strong foundation in the Bible

Christian Leadership
Equipping lay leaders to work effectively alongside pastors in nurturing spiritually healthy congregations

Christian Studies
Serving those who desire to take theological classes for personal growth

Para-Chaplain
Equipping volunteers to work alongside professional chaplains in providing spiritual care to residents of facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, etc

Each course requires a minimum of 15 hours of class time.

Required reading is typically around 300 pages

Each module is five to six weeks

There are now seven modules a year
The academic year is September through August
Students can enter the program at the beginning of any module at any point during the year
Students may take as many courses each module as time and finances will support

ESCM is affordable

Tuition is $170 per course (late tuition is $185)
Textbooks are usually less than $50 per course
New applicants pay one-time $30 admissions application fee
All students pay annual $60 student services fee (photo ID, parking, library, computer lab)

All courses are based on a common curriculum, all credits earned count toward any ESCM diploma or certificate
