For those needing to extend their time in the program beyond the two-year period, there will be a Sustaining Fee of $550.00 per year (subject to change). All outstanding debts must be paid in full prior to graduation. Housing costs, in addition to tuition, are approximately $1200.00 per each of the four intensives. An installment plan is available for a moderate fee.

Federal Stafford Loans are available for D.Min. students. Benefits: A fixed interest rate for loans disbursed after July 1, 2006. The interest rates are 6.8% while you are in school, or grace period, and 8.5% while you are in repayment. Up to 10 years to repay your loans. No penalty for pre-payment. You can borrow up to $20,500 per year for education–related expenses. 0% origination fee. Students can apply at any time during the year. We also have loans for Canadian students. How to apply: Fill out Seminary Financial Aid Application (obtained from Financial Aid Office). Apply for a PIN number at www.pin.ed.gov. This PIN number will serve as your electronic signature. Then go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete your FAFSA for the appropriate year on-line. Use your PIN number to "sign your FAFSA on the web". Palmer Theological Seminary school Code is 003259 (the same as Eastern University). Visit www.aessuccess.org to complete both the Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling. (This step is for new borrowers only No scholarships are provided by Palmer or Eastern University at this time for Doctor of Ministry Students.
